The stunt was arranged by none other than the data-storage firm and sponsor of Lotus F1 cars, EMC based in Massachusetts. This was reportedly a first for Ryan.

"It is one of my dream stunts, because it is one thing I have not done in a big rig. I've flipped them, crashed them every which way you can, but I have not jumped a truck and trailer, and I've never seen it done before," shares Ryan about the semi jump record to Yahoo! autos.

The semi jump record video shows the truck jumping over the F1 race car. Given the semi was modified left with nothing inside, the stunt was practically easy to perform for the Massachusetts-based team. The semi jump record has already been recorded on the Guinness World Records and no doubt it would stay there for long.

There have been no CGI or photo shop involved in the process. What fans had seen in the video was the real deal. Could Jean-Claude Van Damme and his Volvo trucks pull off the same stunt or make it even better?
