Chicago plane crash 2014 kills the aircraft's pilot on early Tuesday morning shortly after it depart from the Midway Airport.

An aircraft heading to Ohio State University Airport in Columbus, Ohio was not able to accomplish its flight after it slammed in a home located in the city's southwest side. The small twin-engine cargo jet identified as the Aero Commander 500 reportedly experienced some engine trouble shortly after it took off. According to a related report, the pilot of the jet was actually trying to return from his route, but he was no longer able to make it when the jet banged into a home in 6500 block of South Knox Avenue.

The plane crash in Chicago this 2014 happened at around 2:45 AM. According to the news, the pilot died instantly after the accident while the jet plowed the home through its window all the way through the living room down to the basement. Residents living in the area can obviously see the trace of the incident since the tail of the aircraft is being angled on the roof.

Although the tragedy looks devastating from the outside view of the damaged house, many residents were amazed at the same glad to know that the couple living in the house is safe and unharmed. An elderly couple in their late 80s are said to be the owners of the Chicago home where the plane crashed this 2014. The couple was reportedly confused and shocked as to what happened since they were still sleeping when the incident occurred.

The elderly couple was indeed lucky to escape the deadly accident after the plane crashed in the right side of their Chicago home while their bedroom is on the left side. They were able to get out of their wrecked home through their back door and are currently staying in a neighbor's place. Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident while it would probably take years beyond 2014.
