Mike Tyson abused - The former boxing champion recently shared a shocking piece of his history. Tyson had allegedly been sexually assaulted at the age of seven during his time in Brooklyn. The man who had assaulted Tyson was never caught.

In an interview with SiriusXM Opie Radio show Wednesday, Tyson shared a dark time in his childhood. Mike Tyson abused at the age of seven by an old man who had just picked him off the streets in Brooklyn.

"He snatched me off the street. I was a little kid...[he was an] old man," shared the 48-year old, adding, "[He] bullied me, sexually abused me and stuff. Never seen him again."

Despite the sexual assault, Tyson had never spoken up about the incident to his father or to the police. Mike Tyson's abuse certainly did not put a damper on his future and his career as a boxer.

"I just went on with my life. I don't know if it did or not," stated the former boxer, adding, "I don't always remember, but maybe I do but I don't. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by it."

Following the reveal on Mike Tyson's abuse, support has been pouring in for the former boxer. While some have questioned the authenticity of his claim, others have simply praised Tyson for his strength to talk about such a dark incident in his past.

"I find it endearing that this man has made it through such a tough life ending up stronger, healthier, better. He is brutally honest and quite intelligent also," comments Harlow of Los Angeles in a report by the Daily Mail.

Nonetheless, it does not change the fact the alleged reports that Mike Tyson abused a teenage beauty queen by the name of Desiree Washington from Indiana. In the year 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Washington thus was imprisoned for three years.
