Norman Reedus Twitter - The "Walking Dead" star took to Twitter to slam reports about him begging producers not to make his character, Daryl, gay. However, this has not stopped rumours about the sexuality concerning Norman Reedus's' character. Even Robert Kirkman, the show's producer, penned an open letter hinting on the sexuality of Dixon.

Leave it to Norman Reedus Twitter to answer all those "Walking Dead" rumors and reports. The latest of which involves his character, Dixon and the sexuality of the crossbow wielding character. The star called out a report by the Inquistr being "total bs."

"This is total bs by the way https://www.inquisitr.com/1564931/norman-reedus-begging-the-walking-dead-producers-not-to-make-daryl-dixon-gay/ ...," stated the post on Norman Reedus Twitter dated Oct. 28.

The report claims Reedus begged the show's' producers not to make his character gay. All this for the sake of his female fans.

"Insiders say he fears the same-sex shocker would hurt ratings by disappointing his legions of female fans. Norman isn't anti-gay in his personal life, but he's become one of the biggest male sex symbols in television. He gets thousands of fan letters from women each week - along with dozens of marriage proposals," stated the source.

While Norman Reedus Twitter post slammed the reports, the rumors continue to circulate over a gay character in the zombie series. Kirkman had already addressed the issue in the letters section of his comic.

"All I can say is that it's been discussed. We have very specific ideas about Daryl's sexuality (or the seeming lack thereof), and if there's ever a quiet period in the show where he's not consistently distracted by crossbowing... we'll tackle it in the show," stated Kirkman.

Daryl being gay or not for one does not affect Reedus or his legions of fans. While he's not busy slamming hilarious reports on the sexuality of his character, Norman Reedus Twitter contains a number of posts from his Instagram account.
