New Orleans abandoned boy - A one year old boy was found by police on the streets of New Orleans. The boy has yet to be identified and according to bystanders at the area he had been crying for almost 45 minutes. Have his parents abandoned him on purpose or were they victims of foul play in the streets of New Orleans?

On Saturday, Oct. 25, a New Orleans abandoned boy have been found by police officers after responding to a 5:20 pm call. The New Orleans abandoned boy was found in his stroller at the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome was a few blocks away from the area where the abandoned boy was found.

Investigations are underway as to where the child could have come from and as to why he was abandoned. The search within the area proved fruitless as officers were unable to track down guardians or relatives of the New Orleans abandoned boy. The boy is now under the custody of Department of Child and Family Services.

Authorities have requested anyone with info on the New Orleans abandoned boy to come forward or call the number 504-658-5267 of Child Abuse Detective Nakeisha Barnes. However, following a few hours after the abandoned boy was taken to the Department of Child and Family Services, his alleged mother had stopped by the station.

The mother claimed she had business to attend to concerning a medical condition. She had left the boy with a friend. Police are currently investigating the "friend" with whom the New Orleans abandoned boy was left with. Even after the mother had stopped by the station, the New Orleans abandoned boy is still under the custody of the Louisiana Department of Child and Family Services. The case is still under investigation by Louisiana police officials.
