Kaci Hickox quarantine nurse - After arriving from Sierra Leone at the Newark Liberty Airport, Kaci Hickox had been placed in quarantine. Despite the test for Ebola coming out as negative, New Jersey officials have kept Hickox under strict quarantine. Now, the nurse has spoken up against the measures and has already hired a lawyer.

The Ebola virus continue to claim thousands of lives in West Africa. With the virus already having spread to the US, it is not the least bit surprising that the Centers for Disease Control would take on stricter measures. Yet, the latest involving Kaci Hickox quarantine nurse has been described as "inhumane."

Following the Ebola NYC patient, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie along with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo implemented the 21-day quarantine even for those who have tested negative from Ebola. Kaci Hickox quarantine nurse is the first to be taken in isolation despite having tested negative from the virus after landing at the Newark Liberty Airport.

This action has of course affected the nurse who has been working against the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Hickox also worries that this may affect medical representatives risking their lives in West Africa to fight off the deadly disease. Kaci Hickox quarantine nurse has spoken up against Governor Chris Christie's new policy and has already hired a lawyer.

"To quarantine everyone, in case, you know, when you cannot predict who may develop Ebola or not, and to make me stay for 21 days, to not be with my family, to put me through this emotional and physical stress, is completely unacceptable. I feel like my basic human rights have been violated," stated Hickox.

While a number of netizens think Christie's policy to fight Ebola are simply appropriate, a few others think it is simply a case of political hysteria over the Ebola outbreak.
