Satyamev Jayate's third season has been scheduled to premiere today at 11:00 a.m. This season will air six episodes. It is an Indian talk show/documentary that will be starring "Ghajini" actor Aamir Khan, who, in the previous seasons of the show, has earnestly highlighted the harsh realities of the Indian society, such as child sexual abuse, honor killing, rape, untouchability, female feticide, domestic violence, criminalization of politics, and alcoholism, among others.

In the trailers and promos for the third season of "Satyamev Jayate," Khan is seen talking about hope and positivity for Indians. The good thing with this upcoming season is that the show will be encouraging healthy interaction with its audience. In fact, it has been reported that Khan will even be having a live chat segment with the show's viewers on social media.

It is not merely a show that showcases the biggest Indian celebrities of today. It is actually a talk show with a cause.

The show placed a lot of focus on the issues that the nation has been facing, not only through varying points of view, but also through actual numbers that statistically represent the intensity of the said issues. It is the goal of "Satyamev Jayate" to empower India's citizens by further educating them about what has been going on within their country. Plus, the show also encourages them to actually take action.

The CEO of Star India, Uday Shankar, said, "I am particularly proud that 'Satyamev Jayate' has become the most powerful platform to inspire individuals and groups and acknowledge the extraordinary contribution that seemingly ordinary people are making to our country. For us at Star India, it has given purpose to why we exist."

Other Bollywood celebrities, such as Parineeti Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Deepika Padukone, will also be making their own appearances on "Satyamev Jayate."
