Lorde Tennis Court singer has just released a new single which will be featured in the upcoming "Hunger Games" blockbuster. The 17-year-old Lorde, whose real name is actually Elle Yelich-O'Connor, decided to post the song entitled, "Yellow Flicker Beat," on social media.

She wrote, "It's here: The official audio for 'Yellow Flicker Beat.' So nervous and excited sharing this with your guys. Aaaaaah."

The Kiwi pop powerhouse is actually quite busy with her present tour in the United States. Still, despite her extremely hectic schedule, she took some time to post a heartfelt thank you to her fans on her Tumblr account. She linked her new song and marked the anniversary of her debut album, Pure Heroine, which has been released to the public a year ago.

Lorde Tennis Court singer wrote, "The past year of my life has seen everything around me multiply in size and number - The stamps on my passport, the number of people I have to ask before I ride on the ferris wheel after my set at a festival, the decibels that follow me when I walk around in public."

Lorde Tennis Court singer then added, "The other thing that's grown in me - my fitness, my mental stamina, my ability to think clearly and make decisions - but, most of all, my capacity for love. The thousands upon thousands (wait, millions?!!) of you who bought Pure Heroine truly feel like friends to me."

She also said a few things about her "Mockingjay" song. She said, "Now, about this song - 'Yellow Flicker Beat,' it's my first offering from what I hope will be a soundtrack you love. It's my attempt at getting inside her head, Katniss. I hope you like it." It looks like Lorde Tennis Court song-maker is a fan of the "Hunger Games" franchise and of Katniss Everdeen herself, who is played by Jennifer Lawrence.
