Memphis mob beating continues with the second attack now involving an elderly man and a young boy. Earlier in September, a group of teenagers were under arrest after a mob attack at a grocery store in Memphis. Despite the attempts at controlling the Memphis mob beating, another town in southern Memphis had been victimized, which has been connected with the "Knock Out" trend.

The "Knock Out" game has become increasingly popular with teenagers around the globe. The game entices kids to point out a random person and knock them out with one hit. Aside from the Memphis mob beating, cases of such violent game have been noted in New York and Pittsburgh.

In Memphis alone, two attacks have been reported though no connection has been made between the two incidents. The first attack was reported in September 8 when a group of teenagers assaulted a 25-year old white man on his way to the grocery store. Onlookers during the first recorded Memphis mob beating claimed there were over a 125 kids. When two employees had rushed to the man's rescue, kids started throwing out pumpkins before attacking both men unconscious.

"They were playing a game called 'point them out, knock them out.' Where they would point someone out and attempt to knock them out or fight them. There was no real reason behind it," stated the witness.

The second recorded Memphis mob beating, which could be related to the "Knock Out" trend involves an elderly man and young boy in southern Memphis. According to Sharon Mourning, an eyewitness at the incident, a large group of kids had been spotted out and about in the streets of Central High School. Apart from ransacking a number of vehicles, the mob group attacked another teenager and an elderly man.

"Memphis is going to burn if they don't control these children," stated Sharon with regards to the continues reports of Memphis mob beating.
