There are a number of celebrities quite active on Instagram of which include the Kardashian sisters, former Disney stars Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus and a number of pop star royalties like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. However, if there is one celebrity worth following it would be Emma Watson Instagram account.

The Harry Potter star has certainly been active on the social media site, Twitter, which is why it surprised a number of fans when she finally joined the Instagram bandwagon. While Emma Watson Instagram is filled with only four photos to date, the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador has amassed 1,720,000 followers.

Emma Watson Instagram first post was that of the announcement made by the UN. Watson was officially named as the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador in July 2014. The photo posted on Instagram garnered almost 174,000 likes and with over 8,000 comments.

In August, Emma Watson Instagram contained another photo and this time it was her doubled over in laughter. This was Watson's reply to a Turkish politician's comment that women should not laugh out loud. Watson joined in on the online protest with the said photo on Instagram which garnered 120,000 likes and 4,000 comments.

This month, Emma Watson Instagram contains two photos from her trip to Uruguay. The UN Women Goodwill Ambassador is currently in Uruguay for a campaign pushing more women to join politics. The project also aims to end inequality between women and men.

I was immensely touched to see so many young people outside the parliament here in Uruguay. At the back of the room there were five young women, probably under the age of 17, who were holding a banner that said, "Say yes to more women in politics". To see this kind of participation is why I'm here. It's why I've come to Uruguay and why I want to work with UN Women..." stated the British actress.

The first Emma Watson Instagram photo in Uruguay is where she is joined by female activists. The second Emma Watson Instagram photo is a screen shot of her in Uruguay news.
