The victims have been identified as David Miller, 24-years old from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and Hannah Witheridge, 23-years old from Jersey, Channel Islands.

There have been no immediate suspects identified in the death of the British tourist killed in Thailand 2014. Locals have been outraged by the death and have aided in the investigation by blocking off its piers to prevent the escape of the suspect.

"The embassy are urgently seeking information from the local authorities and consular staff stand ready to provide assistance to friends and family at this tragic time," stated the UK Foreign Office with regards to the incident of the British tourist killed in Thailand 2014.
