Sony has revealed another drool worthy addition to their PS3 & PS4 accessories. The 7.1 virtual surround sound headset is bound to get Sony users want this on their wish list. The latest gaming headset is set to be released this fall.

What should Sony fans expect from the gadget? Aside from the 7.1 virtual surround sound, a retractable mic for voice chats, in-line mic and audio controls and breathable air cushions. Developers have also created custom audio modes for the headset. The lightweight design is also suitable for long hours of gaming.

This headset priced at $69.99 has a universal 3.5mm jack and also comes with an app. The Headset companion app, which may be downloaded at the PS Store, allows players to load sound profiles that fit their gaming needs.

Sony is set to start sales of the Glacier White headset by tomorrow. Gamers who have their eye on the colour should definitely get their money ready because the white headset is said to be "extremely limited" and will only last for a "short time" or only until supplies last.

Apparently, the release of the headset comes at a timely manner with the launch of the Glacier White PS4. In fact, ahead of its launch, the white PS4 bundle with the video game "Destiny" has sold out online. This comes as a serious setback for eager fans online.

However, Sony fans can still get their hands on the PS4 + "Destiny" bundle at high street stores this evening. The audio mode for "Destiny" will also be made available for the headset companion app for the PS3 and PS4 by tomorrow.

"Enjoy the sounds of the Destiny universe the way Bungie intended," says Sony on the PlayStation Blog.

Apart from the Glacier White headset, Sony is set to release DualShock 4 controllers in Glacier White and Wave Blue.
