Ray Rice's apology to Janay Palmer following his leaked video of domestic violence doesn't seem to work with the NFL since he is still punished with a two-game suspension for this regular season.

Critics began to question the judgment of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell when he decided to impose the suspension to the Baltimore Ravens' running back over the issue of domestic violence. There are those who believe that such kind of penalty seemed to be inappropriate for the situation. Many even thinks that the situation between Palmer and her then fiancée has been handled by the management poorly while it even gained further criticisms from the advocates of victims of domestic abuse.

It can be recalled that Ray Rice and Palmer was involved in a physical altercation way back in February which took place inside the elevator of Atlantic City casino. The said fight between the couple was actually taken in camera and the video was then leaked by a former employee of the establishment. Although the fight has been already resolved by the couple after the player said his apology to Palmer, the NFL still imposed the suspension penalty.

A new graphic video released shows that the Baltimore Ravens' running back has been engaged in an argument with Palmer, who is now his wife. The argument became physical when Palmer began hitting the player, but Ray Rice just went too far when he hit the girl until she became unconscious on the ground. Despite of the apology, the couple has been charged with domestic violence-simple assault for hitting each other.

The NFL recently released a statement saying that they just saw the new video which now shows what happened inside the elevator. The two-game suspension placed on Ray Rice was reached before the new clip was released. On the other hand, the player previously announced his apology when he and Palmer conducted a press conference in May.
