NCAA College Football is heading into the second week of action with a full slate of interesting matchups. Reigning National Champion Florida State Seminoles will try to stay perfect against the Citadel Bulldogs, while Michigan State and Oregon is pitted in an showdown between top-10 teams this early in the season.

Coming off a hard-earned victory over unranked Oklahoma State Cowboys 37-31, Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston and the Seminoles looks to shake off season-opening hiccups as they gun for a dominant win over Citadel, who absorbed a 31-16 opening loss to Coast Carolina last week.

Winston, who covered 370 yards on 25-for-40 passing with a TD, believed the Seminoles did a great job in their season-debut, adding the Oklahoma State just played exceptionally well to push them to the limit.

"There is no reason to get upset because I feel like we needed a great game," Winston told ESPN after their gutsy win against the Cowboys. "And Oklahoma State was outstanding out there. They never gave up."

Cornerback PJ William stressed the Seminoles aren't going to succumb to immense pressure created by their title-winning feat last year.

"We don't feel like it's a burden at all," William added in the interview last week. "We're not defending last year's title because we can't lose it, so we're chasing the next one and trying to get that."

Meanwhile, the Spartans and the Ducks are already for a tasty matchup between college football's traditional powerhouses at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

After seeing his boys crush Jacksonville State 45-7 in the season-opener, Spartans head coach Mark Dantoni braces for a tough challenge against the no.3 ranked Oregon, calling it a match that will measure their capacity to contend for a National Title early this season.

This is an opportunity early in the season to see where we're at as a program," Dantonio told ESPN ahead of their much-awaited matchup with the Ducks. "Win or lose, we still have a lot of football games ahead of us, and we have to understand that that's every bit as important as this one single game."
