Jodi Arias sentencing is moved from its original date of September 8 to September 29 of this year.

It seems like the 34 year-old suspect can have more time for herself to live before the jury reach its decision whether to put her in life imprisonment or consider her for a death penalty. As the authorities nearly reach the final verdict of the trial, more days have been added before the decision of the jury will be heard. The original retrial has been moved by Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens after the suspect's plea.

According to the report from Latin Post, the former waiter has petitioned for her trial to be postponed after she reportedly ran into obstacles as she attempts to interview an expert witness from her cell. With that, the wait will be extended for more weeks as the people's eagerness to know what will happen to Jodi Arias' sentencing increases. It can be recalled that the said woman has been convicted of murder after she killed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander way back in 2008 in his Phoenix home.

Although Jodi Arias has been already convicted of murder, the jury failed to reach for their decision and with that, her upcoming sentencing will determine what will be the corresponding and appropriate punishment for her actions. Huffington Post reports that if the new jury fails to reach for a unanimous decision; then, the option for death penalty will be abolished leaving the judge the option to sentence her to life imprisonment or to be released after 25 years.

Conflict even arises to the suspect and her lawyer; thus, Jodi Arias was granted to defend herself as she stand as her own attorney. Her lawyers even plead their resignation to the judge; however, Judge Stephens denied it. Her sentencing will be in respond to the crime she committed when she stabbed her ex-boyfriend for about 30 times which led to his death years ago while Arias said that it's her way of defending herself from Alexander's physical abuse.
