James Foley, director and known journalist from the United States, has been beheaded by ISIS. A video has just been released to the public, showing James Foley being beheaded, along with a threat that the life of another American will be taken if President Barack Obama does not end the military operations that are underway in Iraq.

The James Foley director beheading video was posted on YouTube on Tuesday. The clip showed James Foley director kneeling beside a man who was dressed in black. He then reads a message that was presumable made by his captors from ISIS for him. According to his scripted message, his "real killer" is America.

James Foley director can also be heard saying in the video, before he was beheaded by his captors, "I wish I had more time. I wish I could have the hope for freedom to see my family once again."

Caitlin Hayden, the spokeswoman of NSC said, "We have seen a video that purports to be the murder of US citizen James Foley by ISIS. The intelligence community is working as quickly as possible to determine its authenticity. If genuine, we are appalled by the brutal murder of an innocent American journalist and we express our deepest condolences to his family and friends. We will provide more information when it is available."

ISIS, or the Islamic State, has never been shy in carrying out their executions. Its members have made it a routine to record the executions that they implement, including the beheadings, and post them on the Internet for everyone all over the world to witness. This is believed to be part of the terrorist group's effort to establish an Islamic caliphate that comes from Syria to Iraq.

James Foley director actually disappeared on the 22nd of November back in 2012, in the northwestern part of Syria, near the Turkish border. According to reports, James Foley director was forcibly placed inside a vehicle by several armed men. After this, he was not heard from again. He was presumably working for the GlobalPost.

The video that showed James Foley director also reportedly shows another American journalist, who was later revealed was Steven Sotloff, a correspondent for Time and Foreign Policy magazines. According to the militant in the video, who surprisingly speaks very good English and what sounds to a British accent, the life of the other reporter hangs in the balance, depending on what Obama's next move is.
