The Cleveland Cavaliers could soon have their hands on the hottest player on the trading block - Kevin Love. According to Chicago Sun-Times, Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations and head coach Flip Saunders are now considering the Cavs' trade package of Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a first-round draft pick in 2015.

A source close to situation reported that Saunders are beginning to have doubts that Love would leave after next season, and trading has become an inevitable maneuver for the sake of the team's future.

"According to a Timberwolves source Friday, the Cavaliers' offer of No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins, 2013 No. 1 overall draft pick Anthony Bennett and future first-round picks is becoming more tempting for coach/president of basketball operations Flip Saunders," the Chicago Suns Joe Cowley reported on Monday.

''It gives [Saunders] a chance to mold the team how he wants it,'' the source said. It also would give Saunders a longer rope to work with"

The Chicago Bulls attempted to revive their interest in Love recently by offering the Timberwolves a trade package consists of Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic for the double-double machine.

"The Sun-Times reported the Bulls offered forwards Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott and ''a few other assets'' for Love. According to the website Sheridanhoops.com, forward Nikola Mirotic also was included in the package, but that was still unconfirmed."

The Golden State Warriors is another team that expressed interest in acquiring the All-Star power forward, their hesitancy to include Klay Thompson in the trade package halted trade negotiations.

However, many analysts still believed the Cavs still have the most tempting trade offers because of the presence of Wiggins, who is considered by many scouts as a player with boundless potentials.

"Multiple sources told Sporting News this week that teams are flocking to potential deals that would send Love to Chicago, Cleveland, Golden State or elsewhere, hoping to facilitate a trade by adding players, cap space or draft picks," via Sporting News.

According to Sporting News, there are several teams that are already contacting potential landing spots for Love in hope of becoming a conduit team in the forthcoming blockbuster trade.

Love averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds last season with the Timberwolves. However, the team's inability to get into the postseason has apparently frustrated Love to the point that he wants to opt out from the final year of his contract and test the free-agency waters after the 2014-15 season.
