Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki became victorious in their respective fields on Sunday amid the emotional conflict that the two has been facing.

The previous months have been emotionally for the former couple as their engagement has been shocking called off, but it seems like the two are currently in a good place as they soar in their different games. The 25 year-old golfer seemed to be back on his feet as he was crowned the Open champion near Liverpool while is ex-fiancé was able to win the Title in Istanbul Cup final that same day. The former couple may be now fully over with their romance as they start to move forward by showing that they can excel in their respective fields of expertise.

It can be recalled that the pair has called it off two months ago before their wedding day was even finalized. The pro golfer seemed to have lost his courage as he decided to split with his tennis player girlfriend at that time. It has been said that the former couple would have scheduled their wedding day sometime this November, but due to the split it will no longer be happening.

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki's split has been a huge media shocker. It has been known that the couple has been already dating for three years and a wedding is quite already expected; however, previous reports say that while they were on the verge of sending their invitations, the pro golfer might have realized that he's not yet ready. Even though the two players have already split, it looks like their separation has brought them closer to fame and achievement as they were recently crowned as the bests in their fields.

Rory McIlroy just made history after becoming third man to win three Majors by the age of 25 while Caroline Wozniacki finished her game within 67 minutes time as she won over Roberta Vinci.
