Get ready to start your engines! Listed as one of the Top 5 Go-Kart locations in New York, The Grand Prix is a fast, sleek and fun way to get your adrenaline pumping!

This indoor racetrack is located just an hour away from New York City, and offers a big bowling alley and a small arcade center inside. It offers six different track formations including one track for ages 8 through 13, and another for ages 7 and younger!

Everyone in the family can race, and with affordable pricing, adults can feel like kids again and imagine they are characters from Mario Kart!

With all the loopy twists and turns and a state of the art kart-control system, there is nothing to be worried about in terms of safety. If kids are given the okay to race against one another, parents should not be worried of any danger.

On your first visit, you sign up at the front desk (if you did not buy a membership online), and soon after, you are sent to the "Briefing Room."

In this room, there is a DVD that is played informing you of the rules and regulations for racing. This video also includes a simple guide showing you how to maneuver the different karts.

All in all, this room is really made for you to get an idea of what you will be doing. But, mastering the art of racing can only occur when experiencing the track yourself!

Didn't think this could get any better? - WRONG! Each driver is given the option to wear racing suits for the ride, plus really cool helmets! (The helmets are mandatory, of course.)

If you wear shorts, the suits are mandatory, and make sure to wear CLOSED TOE SHOES! It is a strict dress code there, and without closed toe shoes; you will not be able to ride!

Out of all the things you can do in New York City, why not take a day to drive out to Mount Kisco and race with your family and friends? Gear up and bring your camera!

Now is the time! On your mark, get set, GO!
