Couple missing Afghanistan has reportedly released a video asking the U.S. for help. The couple missing Afghanistan is a pregnant American woman and a Canadian husband who went missing in Afghanistan in late 2012, and according to The Telegraph, they are still being held by Taliban militants.

Currently, the family of the couple missing Afghanistan are disappointed that the couple has not been freed as Bowe Bergdahl was freed. According to The Associated Press, they have learned that the family of the couple missing Afghanistan have sent two videos last year asking the U.S. government for help with their freedom from the Taliban forces.

The name of the couple missing Afghanistan are Caitlan Coleman and Joshua Boyle, and reports say that the videos are the only clues to what happened to them after losing contact with their families two years ago. The couple missing Afghanistan was reportedly travelling in a mountainous region near the capital, Kabul when they went missing.

According to U.S. law enforcement officials who are investigating the couple missing Afghanistan, though the videos are authentic, they are of "limited investigative value" as there is no detail on when or where they were made.

The video files of the couple missing Afghanistan were reportedly provided to The Associated Press, and they were emailed to Coleman's father last year in July and September by a man from Afghanistan. The Afghan man told the authorities that he had no ties to the Taliban, however, he cannot be contacted in the months that followed his surrendering the videos.

According to Fox News, the families of the couple missing Afghanistan have opted to publicize the videos on Wednesday since Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has been rescued by the U.S. government recently. Bergdahl was freed from hands of Taliban in exchange of five high-level Taliban prisoners at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

Meanwhile, reports say that the families of the couple missing Afghanistan are disappointed as the couple was not included in the same deal as Bergdahl's. However, they are hoping that the U.S. and Canadian governments will prompt their release on humanitarian grounds. According to The Telegraph, the families of the couple missing Afghanistan have not received any ransom demands. Along with this difficulty, signs of motive for why they are being held are still unclear. However, officials posit that being Westerners in hostile territory may have been reason enough for their capture.

Couple missing Afghanistan held captive by Taliban since 2012, and up to now, their parents are still holding out hope that they will be returned to their families. Caitlan Coleman's parents, in an effort to save them, released a YouTube video on Dec. 13, 2012 which expressed their concern on daughter's well-being. They said that she has a liver condition and needs treatment, and at the time was seven-months pregnant with her first child.
