Germany is a country abundant in culture, history, and beautiful landscapes. Hence, it's gaining popularity every year as a favourite holiday destination, and a safe one too. The country is a paradise for campers and has a wide range of campsites. Live in a safari tent shaded by towering trees, enjoy a lantern dinner on a wooden deck, or camp by a lake with beautiful sandy beaches. There are also many campsites in Germany where you can rent mobile homes and bungalows with all comforts and other accommodation facilities.

Having camping essentials in your backpack is a must, whether you are a first-time camper or a champion camper. But, clothing is also an important factor while camping outdoors. Army clothing is the best option to protect you from rain and wind during outdoor activities .

Here's the list of Germany's top 8 cool campsites to enjoy a perfect holiday.

Adventure Camp Schnitzmuhle

The Bavarian Forest is full of leisurely charm and woody innocence, featuring a seamless landscape composed of rolling hills, charming spa towns and dense forests, and exciting criss-cross trails suitable for cyclists, hiking riders, and bikers. Camping Schnitzmühle is located in the center of this lush paradise and can be said to be the country's first very cool campground. Close to the beautiful section of the Schwarzer Regen River, explore the group camping area that has adventure facilities and experienced instructors to lead rock climbing, canoeing, and mountain biking tours. Also, experience the delight of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Mullerwiese

The campsite is located on the outskirts of the picturesque German village Enzklösterle. The part of Müllerwiese, along the edge of a swift mountain stream, is dedicated to caravans and tents, but campers don't have to go that far. There are also two small holiday apartments and two cabins nearby. The facilities are not so modern, but adequate, with everything you may need for your personal bath and clothes. And the brook-beautiful, clean, natural distraction with its own bathroom and shower, is located in a new block.  There is also a playground built in the garden, including table tennis, swings, and a trampoline for children.

Hirzberg Camping

Hirzbirg is located among peaceful green hills, but only 1.2 km from the lively university town of Freiburg. A small buffet breakfast is offered with cereals, bread, and jams to go in the morning. In fact, having a hot coffee while admiring the peaceful countryside is a great way to start your day in Germany. The facilities here are modern and well maintained but overcrowded in summer. A few steps from the tent are the new sanitary area, with free hot showers, toilets, and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer facility. There is also a small library and dozens of games to keep you busy regardless of the weather. Enjoy relaxing camping days with a full-flavored German beer in the warm, good-natured environment.

Campsite Bockenauer Schweiz

Bokenau, in western Germany, is a small town located in a rural forest area, and in this serene setting is nesting Camping Bockenauer Schweiz.  The Dutch-run green campsite is situated in a gently sloping valley. The stream that runs through the campsite makes the picture more perfect. There is a playground for Children within the campsite, also a small pool for water-lovers. Most of the site consists of spacious caravans, camper, or trailer tents. There is a separate area for tent campers. There are also five reinforced RV spaces. If you want to book accommodation, you have many options to choose from. Get one of nine safari tents, or choose an adventurous hiker's hut. For a more luxurious option, choose a mobile home, flat, or holiday home.

There is a large heated swimming pool which is accompanied by a small pool for small children. However, Lake Constance itself is perfect for swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking. Pro tip, bring your waterproof jackets.

After hiking and biking, return to your cabin equipped with fluffy duvets, tartan curtains, and padded benches for a good night's sleep.

Glamping im Safaritent

Located 1.7 km away from the Salztal-Paradies Baths, the campsite offers pet-friendly accommodation in Bad Sachsa. Glamping im Safaritent features free WI-FI and private car parking facilities.
