Jessica Brown Findlay, best known for her role as Lady Sybil Crawley on "Downton Abbey", learned a lesson when she did a topless scene for the film "Albatross" in 2011.

During an interview with Radio Times, Findlay admitted regretting the decision.

"It's not something I would do again," she said.

Findlay said she didn't realize she had the option of saying no. While she does not blame the director, she said she does regret agreeing to do the scene.

"To be honest, 'Albatross' was naiveté and not knowing that I could say no," she said. "I had no idea what was going to happen and thought I was going to be shot from behind."

Findlay said she didn't do any special dieting or exercise before shooting the scene.

"I think if you're going to do a nude scene, be honest and natural," she said. "Otherwise I'd be starving myself forever, which I just couldn't do. The idea that actresses work out at the gym for a thousand hours before hand. I was drinking pints and eating burgers. But actually, it's not something I would do again."

"Albatross" was the first major role for the actress.

In the film, Findlay played a teenager who has an affair with an older man, and the scene in question has her flashing her chest to prove her age.

"Albatross" was not the last time Findlay stripped for the cameras. She also did a nude scene in the upcoming U.K. television drama "Labyrinth," an adaptation of Kate Mosse's best-selling novel.

This time around, the actress knew what she was getting into for the scene. However, she admitted she will never shed her clothes on camera again.

"In 'Labyrinth,' it is a very fleeting moment that we shot in one take, but I did find it very odd being naked in front of lots of people," she said. "I think it's awful that women get so criticized about their bodies."

In spite of her experiences with nude scenes, Findlay said she has no regrets about taking risks; evidenced by her decision to leave the popular drama "Downton Abbey," at the peak of the show's popularity.

"I didn't want to fall into my comfort zone too much," she said. "My contract was ending, and I was unsure about signing away another year.  Leaving terrified me, and that's what made me want to do it."
