Jodi Arias is entering the 18th day of her testimony in a case involving the murder of her lover Travis Alexander. The ongoing trial is being broadcasted in a live stream video which can be seen here.

Arias is charged with first-degree murder in the June 2008 death of her boyfriend in his Arizona home. Details of the case have not been clear, but authorities believe she killed him in a jealous rage.

Arias claims that she killed Alexander in self-defense. However she first claimed that he was killed by two masked men. Two years after she was arrested, she admitted to killing him and said it was because she was fighting for her own life.

Alexander was found shot in the head and stabbed 27 times. His throat was also slit. After the killing she moved his body into the shower and he was found five days later by friends.

Arias claims that she doesn't remember much from the attack but she does remember Aleznader attacking her. She said she ran to his closet where he kept a gun and she shot him in self-defense. She claims to not remember stabbing him.

She had tried to cover the murder by getting rid of the gun in the desert, and getting rid of her bloody clothes. She then left a voicemail on Alexander's phone in hopes that she wouldn't be a suspect. She claims that she was too scared to tell the truth.

Throughout the trial she has gone into detail about the rough sexual relationship that she had with Alexander and explained that he grew physically abusive towards her before she killed him.

Last week, jurors questioned Arias over why she killed Alexander. They grilled her with roughly 220 questions which were read by the judge. The jurors aren't satisfied with her explanations and a prosecutor is set to question her again on Wednesday.
