When it comes to traveling to other countries, people have a list of accessories that they could never travel without. One likely accessory would be a credit card and the best one for travel is considered the Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard for a variety of reasons.

According to Travel + Leisure, WalletHub released a report that ranked Barclays credit card as the top card for international travel. It has a gotten a score of 88 out of the 100 and it's on top because of the convenience of its services.

The report said that people would automatically get a PIN when they get issued the card and they can also rush a replacement card internationally if they lose it while traveling. People also get insurance from trip cancellation and serious travel accident, Wallethub further reported. 

What's more, owners of the card will have zero liability when their card gets lost or stolen. The Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard also scored well when it comes to other benefits, such as delayed luggage insurance and travel emergency assistance.

Yahoo! Finance reports that people who spend $3,000 in 90 days using Barclays credit card will get 50,000 bonus miles worth $500 in travel. The card can also save travelers up to 3 percent on every purchase made internationally, as it doesn't have a foreign transaction fee.

The report said that a total of 69 credit cards from the top 10 issues were analyzed for the study. The Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard was followed by the USAA Rewards Visa Signature, which scored 85.52.

Tied for the third-best credit card for international travel are the Citi Prestige and Citi Thank You premiere cards, which both got a score of 85. Travel + Leisure said that it was surprising to see the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, which is considered as the perfect travel card, landed at number eight, along with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card.
