There's a possibility that the "Twilight" Saga will get a spin-off movie and there's already one actor who's interested in reprising his role. Robert Pattinson, who played vampire Edward Cullen, is interested in a spin-off movie about his character, saying he has always been "kind of curious."

According to a report from the Toronto Sun, the five movies of the "Twilight" Saga earned $3.3 billion at the box office worldwide. Pattinson's character played opposite Kristen Stewart, who played the human turned vampire wife of Edward, Bella Swan, and Taylor Lautner, who plays the werewolf, Jacob Black.

The saga culminated with "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" in 2012. But the report said Patrick Wachsberger, the boss of Lionsgate studio, got fans excited last year when he mentioned the "possibility" of more movies to be made within "The Twilight Saga."

His statement possibly means a spin-off movie about the other characters in the saga. ComciBook reports that the "possibility" of more movies in the saga has excited Pattinson a bit, asking if he will be getting his "own spin-off."

Though it's not yet certain whether the spin-off will be about Edward Cullen, the report said that Pattinson's interest has caused kind of a stir. The actor said he was "always kind of curious" about the possibility because of the franchise's audience.

"Anything where there's a mass audience - or seemingly an audience for it - I always like the idea of subverting people's expectations," Pattinson said. But it will be difficult to do the spin-off movie, considering there isn't a source material for it.

But he did say there "some radical ways of doing it" and it "could be quite fun." Though Lionsgate mentioned the "possibility" of more movies to come within the saga, there's isn't any official announcement as of the moment, so fans will just have to wait and see.
