"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" is set to open in theaters next month. Meanwhile, a new TV spot has been released by Marvel that shows Baby Groot fighting tiny dinosaurs.

As per director James Gunn, some of the elements of marketing will not make it to the screen, reported Screenrant. Therefore this scene of Baby Groot, having a tussle with the dinosaurs might be just a marketing tactic and not for actual film's script.

Nonetheless, the TV spot also shows a Ravager running for his life. He is scared of Baby Groot who knocks the Ravager down with his rope. He also displays fierce aggression on his face. Another interesting element of this TV spot is Rocket the Raccoon scolding Baby Groot. Rocket appears to be more like his guide in the sequel. In "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" film, the roles are reversed.

The original film, released in 2014, has seen that Groot sacrifices himself to protect the team of Guardians. It is a tear-jerking scene where Groot is shattered into tiny pieces. In that film, Rocket is seen at the command of Groot. But the new TV spot teases reversal of positions.

The sequel storyline will reveal the true parentage of Peter Quill aka Star-Lord. It will also see the team of Guardians fighting to keep their family together. The sequel is set in the backdrop of "Awesome Mixtape #2," reports Comicbook. Meanwhile, all the teasers and trailers released so far for the sequel has Baby Groot in it. He is seen having difficulty in delivering the ordered commands.

One of the trailers featured him quietly sitting in the jet with Star-Lord. While another trailer has seen him in a training session with Rocket, the Raccoon. The cast members from the 2014 film are reprising their roles. The new cast additions are Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Kurt Russell (Ego, the living planet), Elizabeth Debicki (Ayesha) and Chris Sullivan.
