The global hotel brand Hilton just planted another new hotel somewhere in the world, but this time, it planted its roots in the lowest point on Earth. Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa just had its official opening on March 20, the first-ever Hilton brand in Jordan.

The Dead Sea is globally famous for its mineral-rich waters that are said to have curative properties. Its high salt content also allows swimmers to perfectly float with ease.

With the inauguration of the Hilton resort, international travelers now have a luxurious choice of accommodation. It has a strategic location overlooking the Dead Sea, and this 285-room resort will have an exclusive access to the beach as well as the stunning views of Jordan's landscape, per Travel+Leisure.

"The Dead Sea is one of the most unique places in the world and has evolved into a major hub of both religious and health and wellness tourism in the region. As the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the country of Jordan, this project marks an exciting addition to the Hilton portfolio as we continue to deliver distinct hospitality experiences to travelers from around the globe," said Andreas Lackner, regional head, full service brand management, Hilton, via Hilton Global Media Center.

Some of the features of the hotel include an infinity pool, a sundeck, a 24-hour gym (scheduled to open in September), and seven dining outlets. Guests checked in the executive rooms and suites will also have an exclusive access to the only executive lounge in the hotel.

The seven dining options are one of the highlights of the resort. In Spectrum, guests can gorge on international culinary delights for a whole day. At 1312, it specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine while at Infinity, you can enjoy poolside snacks and a variety of beverage options. Sky Bar is the contemporary rooftop lounge that offers delicious cocktails. In Bacchus, feast on authentic Italian cuisine. The Beach Bar is your one-stop for refreshments while swimming on the beach or just casually chilling out at VUE lobby lounge.

Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa also has a 24-hour customer service. Simply call their contact numbers or visit their website for more details.
