Niantic has tweaked "Pokemon GO" recently that provided players with more information about the eggs that they have found. This new update will likely help players to catch more rare Pokemon as egg incubation is one of the best ways to do it, except for capturing shiny Pokemon.

According to a report from GameRant, the new update will give players information on where and when they found a particular egg whenever they are viewing it in the game. Knowing this information may somehow help players know more about the mechanics of Pokemon spawning in different locations.

The report said that some players believe the location that the egg is found could possibly influence what kind of Pokemon will hatch from it. This latest update will somehow make it easier for players to test out the theory and relationship of egg location to the creature that will hatch from it.

Speaking of egg hatching, Niantic's March 2017 update introduced the shiny Pokemon, which are currently the golden Shiny Magikarp and the red Shiny Gyarados, and questions have come out whether they can be hatched or not. Heavy reports that at the moment it's not possible for the shiny Pokemon to be acquired via egg hatching.

Magikarp and Gyarados are Pokemon that cannot be hatched from eggs in general and they are currently the only two shiny Pokemon. The report said that it's possible for shiny Pokemon to be hatched from the egg if the next Shiny Pokemon is a creature that can be acquired through egg hatching in the first place.

Magikarp used to be hatchable, but now the creature can only be acquired in the wild. It's not easy to detect a shiny Pokemon as they appear in normal colors on the map. Players would need to battle them first for them to know it's a shiny Pokemon. Learn more about the shiny Pokemon of "Pokemon GO" in the video below.
