For people who are still looking to get their hands on the Nintendo NES Classic Edition, they can still do so at Amazon.com, as the online retail giant still has stocks left. The only problem is people would have to pay almost three times the original $60 for it.

According to a report from KnowTechie, Amazon still has more than 150 pieces of the limited edition unit in their stock, which is a good news for those who are still looking to purchase the hard-to-find console. The problem, though, is that it's not priced at $60, which was its regular SRP.

The Nintendo NES Classic Edition that's available at Amazon can be purchased for an average price of $160. The prices don't even include the shipping cost of the unit.

Droid Report mentions that it's not only on the Amazon website can people purchase the NES unit as other online stores also offer them. eBay, for instance, has 10 available stocks, but are still priced at $144, still way above the SRP of the unit.

The report said that the reason for the shortage of units is that Nintendo with its supply chain. Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima said that they were having a hard time in finding some of the parts of the console. But he did say they're committed to enhancing their productions to meet the consumers' demands.

The Nintendo NES Classic Edition offers 30 built-in classic games for players to enjoy. These games include "Super Mario Bros.," "Legend of Zelda," "Donkey Kong," and more. The console has been in-demand, especially for people who grew up playing the said classic Nintendo unit.

But with supplies still not in par with demand, people who are looking to get their hands immediately on the unit, can do so at Amazon or eBay but at a premium price. Check out more information about the unit in the video below.
