We have been hearing about new "iPad Pro" models, but we really don't have any idea about when the "iPad Pro 2" might be launched. Tipsters have leaked that it could be announced anytime soon.

According to MacRumors, the announcement of the new product could happen between Monday, March 20 and Friday, March 24. The website said that reputable supply chain analysts who wish to remain anonymous have made this leak and that this information is based on its own sources and not just any reports.

The firm did not specifically disclose the product that Apple will announce, but rumors have strongly suggested that at least three of the new "iPad Pro" models will be revealed including the much-awaited 10.5-inch model which sport slimmer bezels, along with the updated 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch versions.

The new "iPad Pro" is reported to have no home button so that it allows the same overall footprint as the 9.7-inch "iPad Pro." It is also rumored to have higher-resolution display and quad microphones. TechRadar said that the "iPad Pro 2" will have a no headphone port and it's going to be water resistant. Apple is yet to send out media invitations to the supposed launch event. A source who claims to be an Apple insider said that it will have a model number of MH1Z2CD/F.

But whether or not Apple will launch the latest iPad models soon, there has been evidence that the company is testing new tablet devices. Fiksu, a mobile marketing firm said it found four new iPad identifiers running on iOS 10.3 in its device tracking logs.

In the past, Apple has hosted March events four times during the past six years. The new iPad models were introduced in 2011 and 2012, and in 2015, the "Apple Watch" was revealed. In 2016, apple launched the 9.7-inch "iPad Pro" and "iPhone SE."
