The "One Piece" anime will be entering a new filler arc in the following weeks and it will be the "Marine Rookie Arc," where new marines will be introduced into the "One Piece" universe. New details about this arc, like the casts, character names and character designs, have been revealed.

According to a report from Anime News Network, the new details were revealed on the official website of the "One Piece" franchise. There are basically four new characters that are going to be introduced, led by Youhei Tadano, who plays Vice-Admiral Prodi.

The report said that the Vice-Admiral looks to be an old friend of Garp, Luffy's grandfather, and is the one running the base in the island of Fron. Prodi is described as a glutton and a drunkard but has a good heart and fights using artillery.

Joining him will be Natsuki Hanae, who plays the new marine Grant. Grant, who looks up to Aokiji, is described to be someone who has a strong sense of justice and is a devil fruit user. The other cast would be Hiroki Yasumoto, who plays a new marine that's a member of the Longarm Tribe, Bonam.

The report describes Bonam as the older brother figure among the three new marines. The last marine is a dual-sword wielder named Sappa. Makoto Furukawa will be playing the new character, who is described to be fearful of strangers but outgoing when it comes to women, due to the character loving them so much. He is also said to change his personality once his sword is drawn.

ComicBook said that the report for the filler arc of "One Piece" came from the Weekly Shonen Jump and will center on Luffy and his comrades, while they are traveling to save Sanji. But when they run out of food, they detoured to a Marine base to steal supplies.
