Emma Watson has grown up since her "Harry Potter" days but she was recently stopped and questioned at a New York airport because a customs agent thought she was a child who was traveling alone.

Over the holidays, Watson flew into New York's John K. Kennedy airport, where she was questioned by security.  A customs agent thought she was a minor who was traveling by herself. She took to Twitter on Dec. 22 to describe the incident.

"Passport control: 'Unaccompanied minor?' Me: 'Sorry?'" Watson tweeted.

"Passport control: 'Where is ur (your) guardian?' Me: 'I'm 22!!!!!! #neverwearingabackpackagain"

An unaccompanied minor is usually someone who is 14 or younger.

Usually a woman wouldn't mind being mistaken for younger than she is, but the incident left Watson embarrassed and she said it wasn't the first time it happened to her.

"The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this has happened ," she later wrote.

She may have been a child star, but Watson certainly isn't a child anymore. After the "Harry Potter" series came to an end, she has broadened her acting career. She was last seen in "My Week With Marilyn" and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."

She will be starring in films, "This is the End," "The Bling Ring," and "Noah" which will all come out this year, so she'll have plenty of movie premiers and interviews to attend. Perhaps she won't get stopped each time she goes through the airport.
