Scarlet Johansson doesn't want to talk about the possibility of a "Black Widow" movie for now. With filming for "Avengers: Infinity War" already starting and Black Widow a big part of it, the actress wants to focus first on the upcoming movie and talk about the character's own movie after.

MTV News posted on Twitter an interview that reporter Josh Horowitz has with Johansson during the 2017 Academy Awards. At first, he was asking the actress who she wanted to work with among this year's nominees, then he asked her about a "Black Widow" movie.

He asked if a "Black Widow" movie is closer to happening, considering that there's growing public support for the movie. Johansson responded with "I don't know at this point."

The actress also adds that she's still trying to "wrap" her head around the upcoming movie "Avengers: Infinity War," where she said, "the production is an infinity." She did say she'll get back to him about it after "Avengers 3."

Horowitz also mentioned that Joss Whedon will come back to tackle the movie with Johansson. The actress only said that they talk about it a lot, "texting each other back and forth."

Dan Zinski of Screen Rant said that not only will Johansson, who is also starring in the upcoming "Ghost in the Shell" live-action adaptation, have to find time in her schedule, Marvel would also need to make space for a "Black Widow" movie in its timeframe.

However, it won't be a bad idea for Marvel to create a movie for the Avenger, considering that female comic book characters are recently making waves in movies. Zinski said that DC will be coming out with "Wonder Woman" and the "Gotham Sirens," while Marvel is already working on a "Captain Marvel" movie.

But he adds that having a "Black Widow" movie will give Marvel another female heroin to give them a push. Check out a compilation of Johansson's Black Widow in action throughout different Marvel movies.
