Model Kate Upton recently attended some events in light of her newest cover for Sports Illustrated Magazine. At one point, the blonde bombshell took part in a Facebook Live Video chat where she answered a couple of questions from her fans.

Naturally, the most prevalent queries that Upton received were in regard to being content with her body and feeling comfortable in her own skin. In the same event, up and coming model, Brinkley Cook, also talked about growing up in the shadow of mom, Christie Brinkley, and being chastised for not having the same physique as her.

Given that Upton now has been on countless magazine covers - three of which for Sports Illustrated, a lot assumed that she no longer struggle with confidence. But instead, the 24-year-old shared that at the very start of her career, she had a hard time coming to terms with critics bashing her for being a little bit curvier than other models.

Despite that, Upton said that she is still grateful to everyone who doubted her from the beginning because if not for them, she would not be able to appreciate her body just the way it is. "I have to thank the people who did that because it really made me sit back and find out who I was," she stated. "I realize that my confidence that I had in my body was actually meant to inspire women to love themselves for all their different flaws."

Now happily engaged to Detroit Tigers starting pitcher, Justin Verlander, Upton, has also branched out to acting appearing in 2014's "The Other Woman" alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann. She also dabbled in hosting, joining Kelly Ripa on "Live! with Kelly and Michael" as a guest co-host.

Upton was joined in the Facebook Live event by three other Sports Illustrated Magazine in Hailey Clauson, Aly Raisman, and  Cook. While the other girls expressed their own personal stories relating to that of Upton, Cook, in particular, reveals that being the daughter of the iconic model, Brinkley, also subjected to her to body shamers at a very young age.

Cook and her sister, Alexa Ray Joel, joined their mom in a surprise feature photo shoot earlier this month for the same magazine which marks the 63-year-old's comeback in the Sports Illustrated world after retiring in 2004. The trio frolicked in the beaches of Turks and Caicos sporting coordinated bikinis.
