There is no bad blood between Rihanna and Drake even after the couple's split last year. That is what the Canadian rapper proved when he sent a shout-out to his ex during his concert in Dublin, Ireland last Monday.

In between sets for his performance, Drake addressed professed his admiration to the "Rude Boy" singer, who turned 29 on the same day. "It's somebody's birthday today - somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for," he said.

"Instead of singing 'Happy Birthday,' we're going to set it off just like this...," he continued. Drake then broke into his and Rihanna's smash collaboration song "Work" that got the arena jamming. After performing the reggae-pop track, the tribute then continued with a medley of songs Drake and Rihanna worked together through the years including 2011's "Take Care" and last year's "Too Good."

Drake and Rihanna kept a low profile while they were still dating. They were rarely seen together in public hanging out with each other But the "Degrassi: The Next Generation" alum has always been known for being vocal about her feelings for the Barbados-born pop act. Last August, the former got everyone talking when he could not stop showering Rihanna with praise while he presented her with the "Michael Jackson Vanguard Award" during the most recent "MTV Video Music Awards."

Shortly after the event, the two officially stepped out and confirmed their relationship. They even got matching tattoos although inked on different places on their respective bodies.  Rihanna had it just above her left ankle. Drake, on the other hand, had it on his right forearm instead.

Unfortunately, the dating did not last very long. After just a couple of months, the two eventually head separate ways. Rihanna's love life has been relatively quiet since then but Drake has been linked to various artists with Jennifer Lopez being the latest one in his list of rumored romances.
