The upcoming action game titled "NieR: Automata" release date for the PC gets quite confusing after two separate video trailer from Gematsu and the official page goes live. The release dates for the PC somehow got mixed up with the US and Europe version releases, but one video still merely shows "2017."

According to Twitter user Wario64's recent post, a confusion started to surface regarding the PC release date for "NieR: Automata." Initially, the official video uploaded at Square-Enix's channel still stated that the game's PC release is due on 2017. However, Gematsu's version of the trailer had a different information disclosed at the end of the video, stating that the game will be released on Steam on March 10, which is three days after the initial release on the PlayStation 4.

Square Enix's video is now deleted, but surprisingly enough, there's still no official word on what was actually going on with the two trailers, stating different information regarding the releases. As PC Gamer have pointed, this could possibly be Gematsu, simply messing with the fans, otherwise, this is a grave mistake from whoever was tasked to upload the trailer on the official channel.

Fans, however, are a bit confused due to the lack of any follow-up from Square Enix. Still, some speculate that this is some sort of deal between Sony and the publisher in order to give the PlayStation 4 owners a bit of exclusivity with the game, but a three-day exclusivity could seem a bit off.

Nevertheless, nobody can still tell whether "NieR: Automata" is going to get a PC release anytime soon after the PlayStation 4 release and while it showed as "3.10.17" on the trailer, there's still a possibility that this could be changed. A number of gaming communities have already tried reaching out to Square-Enix for a comment and fans only need wait for the official announcement.
