"Wolverine" legend Hugh Jackman shared a post on his Instagram account about his treatment for his skin cancer. The actor has just finished his sixth treatment; this he revealed to his seven million fans to update them on his health.

Fox News Entertainment reported that Jackman posted an image of him with his nose covered with bandage. He started treatment in 2013 after his wife prodded him to have his mole checked. His wife Deborra-Lee Furness was worried of his mole on the nose and was right that it needs treatment.

The diagnosis was for a basal cell carcinoma which he presumed to have gotten due to over exposure to the sun's rays. He told his fans to have a checkup in case of doubts on growths of moles. He said that it pays to have a check up and he thanked his doctors for their efficient treatment.

As for his movie "Logan," they are already in the finishing phase. He has already informed his co-actors that he will be finally saying goodbye to the "Wolverine" character says Coming Soon.

The 48-year-old actor said that he is indebted to his character for the success of his acting career. He was sad that he is saying goodbye to the character soon.

His longtime co-actor in "X-Men" Patrick Stewart who plays Professor Charles does not believe that "Logan" will be his last and final portrayal.

The upcoming movie is seen as the gateway for new heroes. Dafne Keen who plays Laura Kinney (X-23) is one concrete example of new generation heroines. Her "Wolverine" clone role in the comics is worth mentioning.

The story is set in the future where "Logan" played by Jackman will be taking charge of caring for the Professor who is not well. Despite their discreet plan to be not known in the world, they failed when the young mutant arrived. "Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman will be seen on the big screens on March 3, 2017.
