"Beyblade" is one of the anime series which was popularly known in Japan as an explosive shoot Beyblade. It is a Japanese manga series which was written and illustrated by Taoko Aoki in order to promote sales of the spinning tops which are called Beyblades. It was first originally serialized in CoroCoro Comic from September 1999 to July 2004.

More specifically, the original anime installment was popularly known as Merchandise-Driven Beyblade franchise. It was more focused on the trials and the tribulations of the Bladebreakers. They were teams of beybladers who did come from different backgrounds and countries. Most of its characters have a bit beast in their blades, which embodies legendary creatures like dragons and phoenix that will control various elements, TV Tropes reported.

The first season of the series was focused on the Bladebreakers rise to the top. This starts from taking down an illicit Beygang of very dangerous tweenagers helmed by Kai in order to obtain the ultimate bit beast. The second season was about the shifted gears that focused on the conflicts between the Bladebreakers and the saint shields. These two had reluctantly teamed up against an evil organization which aims to capture the four sacred bit beast; dragoon, draciel, dranzer, and the driger.

And just recently, it was confirmed on the official Twitter account of Beyblade franchise that the "Beyblade Burst" television anime series is getting a new one entitled, "Beyblade Burst God". It was confirmed on Friday that the series will premiere in April this year. Further, the TV Tokyo's website also had confirmed that the new franchise will be airing on their channel, Anime News Network reported.

Further, "Beyblade Burst" will premiere in Japan on April 4. Katsuhito Akiyama will be directing the anime at OLM of Oriental Light Magic with character designs by Toshiaki Ohashi and Hideki Sonoda.
