Let us admit it. Whether or not you are travelling like a pro or even for the first or second time, there are just some things that get out of your control - travel mistakes that you actually do not want to do because they will definitely ruin your whole trip.

Making few small mistakes during your travel is actually acceptable. But in reality, you need to be cautious in every action that you do so as to avoid inconvenience and headache on your part from the beginning up to the end of your trip. Hence, we listed some of the most common travel mistakes that people do which you might not know you are making, too.

1. Bringing too much extravagant things such as your brand new GoPro Action Cams, or your iPhone 7s, or your Coco Chanel bag, or simply your shining shimmering accessories would always lead you to locals - the souvenir vendors, the on-site tour guides, the private cab owners, and most especially, the thieves. Be as simple as possible. You do not have to be a subject of attraction just because you are a tourist in a particular place, the Traveller says. You can still be beautiful even in your simplest form.

2. Planning to go on a vacation for, let us say, 10 days in order to see all the attractions in the place that you are going to is basically a No-No. Remember, even some of the locals who are actually living in the place where you plan to go still do not know what it feels like to take a tour all around the place without even missing anything. Do not be too ambitious when it comes to your itinerary. It is just like swallowing a whole chicken when all what your stomach can take is just the wing.

3. It is always good to do a little research over the internet before the day of your travel about the place where you are planning to go is always a good thing to do. But resorting solely on the things that you will see in the internet is a thumb down. Bear in mind that anyone can literally put anything that they in the internet, whether they are credible or just feeling like ruining other peoples' lives. You can always ask the locals or better yet, discover and explore it all by yourself.

4.Packing as if you have no plans of going back home will probably make your mommy sad - not because of the load of worn clothes that she has to clean after your trip but because of the extra baggage fee that she has to pay because you already exceed airline's baggage limit. According to Ordinary Traveler, aside from planning your itinerary or anything else, you also need to plan for the "important" things that you need to put into your luggage. Transferring all the contents of your whole closet to your travelling bag has never been a good idea. Just pack what you think you will wear and then you are good to go.

5. The most painful nightmare that you can imagine during your trip is to run out of money. And the mistake that you might probably make leading to running of money is spending too much either on little things or not. Travellers always have the tendency to overlook their budgets and get too much excited in buying souvenirs or treats for their selves or for their loved ones. Hence, spending a lot even in small things with small costs can actually lead you to selling all your stuffs in order for you to earn money for a plane ticket back home.

There are just some things, or mistakes rather, that even the savviest traveller in the world might overlook and experience in a trip. However, being cautious in our actions and aware of the smallest mistakes, we can definitely achieve a flawless journey we can ever imagine.
