"One Punch Man" took the world by storm when the hit anime series made us laugh our hearts out with its hilarious characters and comedy factors. However, the author under the pseudo name ONE and illustrator Yuusuke Murata is not yet finished as their work continued to rock the world. Recently, the tenth volume of their hit manga book series rank 3rd in the latest Nielsen Bookscan's Top 20 list for January.

Nabbing the first two places was the memoir of Congressman John Lewis titled "March" with the trilogy series getting the top spot and book one placing on second. Five manga titles made the list including the latest manga volume of ONE and Murata (3rd), new "Legend of Zelda": Legendary Edition by Akira Himekawa (7th & 11th) and the brand-new "The Ancient Magus' Bride from Seven Seas (9th) as reported by ICv2.

Sui Ishida's "Tokyo Ghoul" claimed two spots on the list with its 10th volume placing on 10th place and the first volume on 14th place. The other hit manga series, "Attack on Titan" by Hajime Isayama placed 16th with its 20th volume. The previous top one of the month, "The Walking Dead" series which claimed 5 spots didn't make the cut this time.

According to Anime News Network, the first volume of "One Punch Man" ranked at number 17 last month. The English version of volume 10 was released last January 3 and it instantly rose up and nabbed the third spot of BookScan Top 20 Graphic Novel for January. Volume 10 contains the 9 chapters running from the 47th up to the 55th chapter and a special holiday chapter.

In the recent chapters, the caped super hero, Saitama is still finding a worthy opponent where he can fight all out and give his life a meaning. To kill his boredom, Saitama decided to try martial arts and enter a combat tournament. Meanwhile, hero hunter Garou continue to wreck havoc to the hero world leaving the Hero Association in turmoil.

The ranking was based on the sales of the books at Barnes and Noble and other book chains, independent book shops and online purchases. However, this doesn't include sales from comic book stores, Amazon and Walmart.com.
