"The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons is excited about their show's spin-off. It will be about his young life as Sheldon Cooper. The versatile actor admitted that he already know the lucky actor who got the role. But he keeps it to himself and not yet ready to reveal who he is.

When asked by ET correspondent Nancy O-Dell during the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards, he said that he is not the right person to divulge his identity. The only hint he gave is that he is a gem; he is wonderful and really special.

The spin-off is a relevant extension of his character that is so interesting. A peek at his young life will surely draw a lot of interest. According to We Got This Covered, "Sheldon" will tell how he grew up to become a learned theoretical physicist.

The show runners conducted a search and luckily, they got him. Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro asked his opinion regarding the choice and he agreed that he is great.

The plan for a spin-off was first revealed in New York when he was promoting his new radio show on SiriusXM. The show is titled "Jim Parsons Is Too Stupid for Politics."

He was generous with his advice to the new actor. He said, "I would advise that actor to watch me as little as possible, and take that thing by the horns, and make it your own."

"The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons has been with the comedy show for 10 seasons. The show has been renewed already after a lengthy negotiation for salaries. Three of the lead actors are receiving $1 million per episode salary and this was retained by the producers.

The show has been a consistent winner in various award-giving bodies. Even Jim Parsons bagged this year's Golden Globes trophy for Best Actor in a Comedy. Jim Parsons' role is that of a physicist who lacks social concern and degrades his friends and the waitress across the hall because they are not as intelligent as he is.
