Warner Bros. has recently announced it is expanding the Watford-based "Harry Potter" Studio Tour this spring. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the tour's opening, now, Forbidden Forest is open to the public for the first time!

The Warner Brothers Studio Tour London is enchanting guests, starting March, to follow in the footsteps of Harry, Ron and Hermione into the magical lair. Any "Harry Potter" fan will know, this restricted area was home to a multitude of mythical creatures, many of which were looked after Hagrid, who lived on the fringes of the woodland, says Cosmopolitan.

The "Harry Potter" Forbidden Forest is a tree-filled attraction which will be packed with creepy creatures. The permanent extension to the UK attraction will be opened on March 31. The "Harry Potter" Forbidden Forest attractions use the same techniques to blend with the eerie atmosphere and weather of the "Harry Potter" movies.

In the "Harry Potter" Forbidden Forest, visitors will be able to tour the attraction with lanterns over interwoven roots underneath 19 trees which each have a diameter of over 12 feet. Furthermore, they will have to be courageous as concealed deeper in the forest is Aragog, the giant spider, which legs span over 18 feet, alongside mini agogs from his family. There is also a full-sized model of Hippogriff Buckbeak, which first appeared in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

In addition, inside the "Harry Potter" Forbidden Forest, the original costumes for characters including Hagrid, the half-giant professor, can also be seen. Stuart Craig, Production Designer on all eight Harry Potter films, was quoted by Daily Mail saying that "Harry Potter" Forbidden Forest is full of mysterious, fascinating and sometimes frightening forces. He added that it symbolizes the great unknown as compared to the safety and comforts of Hogwarts and the Gryffindor Common Room, which makes it so interesting and important to the development of the story.
