James Mangold, director of the movie, "Logan" tweeted some expressive photos of the set featuring the main cast of the movie. He took the photo himself within the set which showed Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen as the characters they portrayed. The director captioned the photos by naming the camera and settings he used when he took the photo.

Last October, we've seen the first trailer of the movie showing a very old Logan and Professor X running from some bad guys. The time finally caught up the Wolverine who was once thought to be immortal and doesn't age. According to Gamespot, this will be the last and final movie for Jackman playing as Wolverine.

Jackman has also recently posted a photo containing the official synopsis of the film which the actor captioned 'official'. The official synopsis says, "In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempt to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces."

"Logan" will feature another mutant codenamed X-23 played by the child actress Dafne Keen. X-23 or Laura Kinney will serve as the sidekick of Wolverine and probably the successor of his powers as reported by Nerdist.

The movie was based on the "Old Man Logan" story arc in the Marvel comics which is set in an alternate universe. However, the movie will just use some of the details from the comics and will not follow the entire comic saga.

Boyd Holbrook as the villainous Donald Pierce, along with Richard E. Grant as Dr. Xander Rice, Stephen Merchant as Caliban and Eriq La Salle in unspecified role will be joining the film. 20th Century Fox announced that "Logan" will have its release date on March 3, 2017 and a final trailer will be released anytime soon.
