"Twilight" sequels are a possibility, though not with huge certainty but it is not impossible. This was told by an executive of Lionsgate. Patrick Wachsberger said that the Bella and Edward love story may continue even though the last movie, Breaking Dawn - Part II has been released four years ago.

The movie cemented the acting careers of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Their on-screen chemistry is still being talked about till today. Theirs did not only remain on-screen but continued off-screen and their shippers still hope they will eventually end up together.

Despite living separate lives and having relationships with other people, the Robsten affair is not yet dead. If paired again in another "Twilight" sequel, sleeping emotions might come alive. Nobody knows exactly what the movie will revive in them.

Robert Pattinson is engaged to FKA Twigs while Kristen Stewart has jumped from one woman to another. Her current flame is Stella Maxwell.

According to Coming Soon, Wachsberger said that the sequels will depend upon Stephenie Meyer, the author of the "Twilight" saga. He said that if she wants to tell a story about the primary characters, then the company is ready anytime.

The series has earned gross earnings of $3.3 billion worldwide. This record makes Lionsgate ready to produce a sequel any time. Four of Meyer's books were turned into movies.

Metro reported that Robert Pattinson was no longer thinking of returning to the series in case it continues. He said that he can no longer portray the eternally-young Edward because he is already old for the role. However, he is still interested if given a chance.

Pattinson still looks young; there is no problem with his looks and his role. The answer to the longing of the fans for "Twilight" sequels is the go-signal from Stephenie Meyer.
