"Better Call Saul" Season 3 fans were surprised when Gus Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito was seen in a new promotional video. But this time, it was a television commercial for Los Pollos Hermanos. What does this mean for Esposito's character?

The ad begins with a promise from the fast-food restaurant owned by Fring. The ad says,"We know at Los Pollos Hermanos that only the best will do for your family. What does family taste like? In your heart, you know it’s the best ingredients, the spiciest spices, all prepared with love and care, and always delivered with a friendly smile. That’s the Los Pollos Hermanos promise."

A family is seen arriving at the counter as they choose their order. Also seen in the video are freshly chopped tomatoes and the ingredients used to make their juicy chicken. In the end of the video, Fring, who is wearing a yellow shirt and brown tie, invited viewers to try the new curly fries. He said that if buyers won't like the fries, it's on him.

Although this left some fans dumbfounded, it is obviously a teaser of Fring's return. Aside from the trailer, Esposito personally confirmed his appearance in the show through a Twitter post, CDA News reported.

“I’m back!! What you’ve been waiting for, the rise of Gus is coming!” Esposito said which no doubt made the fans feel even more excited about "Better Call Saul" Season 3.

Apart from that, "Better Call Saul" writer Gennifer Hutchison said that she knows fans of the show wanted to see Esposito in it. According to Variety, she said, “I think people had those expectations going in. Mike had a very established relationship with Gus, so the minute we said Mike was coming back as a central character people said, ‘Well this means Gus.’ I think those expectations have always been there.”

Hollywood Reporter noted that with Fring's appearance in the series, he will be one of the biggest names from "Breaking Bad" aside from Bob Odenkirk. Aside from Esposito's character, there was already other "Breaking Bad" cast who appeared in the show like Tuco played by Raymond Cruz and Tio portrayed by Mark Margolis.
