"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is now confirmed for release on AMC after a trailer of the show emerged online. It promises a more exciting storyline as it picked up where it left off in Season 2.

It can be recalled that "Better Call Saul" Season 2 ended with Jimmy admitting to Chuck about doing some illegal activity. He confessed to tampering some court documents. But he didn't know that Chuck recorded it. In the trailer, Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) is shown having a mug shot which signifies that Chuck succeeded, Independent reported.

In season 3, the battle of the McGill brothers will continue. As for Mike, he will take out drug dealer Hector Salamanca but the word "DON'T" on his windshield might change everything. Whoever is watching Mike is still a mystery. But it could be "Breaking Bad" villain and drug kingpin Gus Fring.

Also, based on some early photos from the set, it showcased that Jimmy will be spending time with his alter ego Gene, the Cinnabon employee from Omaha, Nebraska. And because of the dark turn of events, Jimmy will get his criminal lawyer of choice,Saul Goodmam.

The original cast will be returning and will possibly be joined by Giancarlo Esposito for his Gilligan role, Betsy Brandt for her role as Marie Schrader, and Dean Norris, who played DEA Agent Hank Schrader, Den of Geek reported.

Meanwhile, Bryan Cranston might be directing an episode of the upcoming season. With that, it is possible that viewers will see Walter White but it is not yet confirmed.

"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is set to return in April 2017 on AMC with ten episodes. It's return is just two months after the season finale of "The Walking Dead" manifesting that it could be AMC's flagship in Spring. Season 1 is currently available in Season 1 while it will be available for live streaming on Sling, DirecTV Now and Playstation Vue.
