It was in the year 2009 when Avatar was released. But until now, there is still no sign of Avatar 2 yet. However, the public will finally get a chance to see the world of Pandora again.

According to entertainment website Cinema Blend, the Pandora: The World of Avatar theme park will be added to the Animal Kingdom in Disney World Resort. The theme park was announced in 2015 that it will open Summer 2017.

A preview of the Na'vi was shown recently and now a new video has surfaced on the Disney Parks YouTube channel. Disney Parks released the sneak peek video on Christmas day. The video gives a tour of the upcoming attraction.

The video allows fans to get a first look at the new theme park. It shows how Disney recreates in great detail the lush world of Pandora. The video gives fans a small taste of what's to come.

The world of Pandora is not yet complete. The video still gets to show a little of what goes on behind the scenes at the Avatar theme park.

James Cameron began his creation 20 years ago. He created the mythology. He directed the movie and he is going to direct the sequels. It seems that he was impressed after he toured the Pandora theme park.

He saw in person the work that was done to bring his creation into the world. He knew all the mechanics and engineering that went into the construction of the theme park. He was still amazed by how it all came together.

The two-minute video shows clips from the 2009 Avatar movie. It also shows concept artwork illustrating what features will look like when the park is complete.

The video shows previews of actual attractions that have already been built. The clips show what highlights attendees can expect to experience at the theme park.

There is a river ride through a bioluminescent forest. There is a ride that recreates soaring through the landscapes of Pandora on the flying dinosaur-like creatures from the film. Best of all is walking under the jungle planet's floating mountains, recreating the landscape from the film.

The result of all the work is awe-inspiring. The newspaper Daily Express reported that the Senior VP Creative at Walt Disney Imagineering, Joe Rohde, was doubtful that it was physically possible to build Pandora. He said it was a crazy thing to attempt. He called the project a custom designed, complex, programmed piece of show equipment.

Disney did not spare any expense to make everything look as realistic as they could be. Many different disciplines made it all happen.

The public right now has no idea what the final finished product will look like. The "Pandora: The World of Avatar" theme park will be completed in half-a-year but in the meantime, the video below demonstrates how immersive the experience will turn out.
