After three years of entertaining people Las Vegas at the Wynn Hotel, Garth Brooks' show is coming to an end. The country music star's last Vegas show will be November 17.

On Thursday, officials of the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas announced that Brooks will be playing his last few shows up until Nov. 17.

The country music star came out of retirement just to play shows at the Wynn. Brooks began the shows in December of 2009 and received positive reviews from critics and fans.  When he first started, Brooks signed a contract to perfrorm the show for five years, but his run is ending two years short. It is not clear why Brooks' show is ending after just three years.

There doesn't seem to be any hard feelings though.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wynn. Mr. Wynn told me that the Wynn audiences were some of the best in the world, and he was right," Brooks said in a statement, as quoted by the Las Vegas Sun. "As for Steve Wynn, he is one of the smartest guys I have ever had the pleasure of talking to or listening to. He does everything top notch and is the easiest and best boss I have ever worked for ... I just love him!"

Stever Wynn also had some nice things to say about Brooks.

"I have always thought of Garth Brooks as a brother, and this will always be a home for him. Personally, I've never stopped being amazed at Garth's talent, nor have I ever stopped admiring the wonderful balance that he has maintained as a father and a superstar. He is, to me, the rarest of all combinations: incredibly gifted and a man of great character," Wynn said according to the Las Vegas Sun.

Brooks retired in 2001 to focus on his family, but Wynn was able to lure him out of retirement. He offered him a private jet to fly him and his wife, county singer Trisha Yearwood, back and forth from Las Vegas to their Owasso, Oklahoma home. His wife sometimes joined him for performances at the hotel.

While Brooks' Las Vegas show is coming to an end, the country singer still has things that he's looking forward to. According to AP, he will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 21 in Nashville. He is also working on a one-man show which he expects to start filming in the summer of 2013.

His last shows are  Oct. 5-6, Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 16-17. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-65-GARTH.
