Bandai Namco Entertainment's "Tekken 7" released the arcade version in Japan on the 18th of March 2015, and they also released the "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" on the 5th of July 2016. The "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is soon to be released this coming 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC.

According to IGN, "Tekken 7" will be released this 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Game Director Katsuhiro Harada made the announcement at Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference. Katsuhiro Harada stated that you will expect an all-new story mode that transitions from epic narrative cinematics to action-packed game-play.

The "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" features several game-play changes to its original "Tekken 7" game. It was announced in a trailer released during the finals of "The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015," which took place on the 12th of December 2015. The trial of the game was later on released in Japan on the 5th of July 2015, and it was later on tested in three arcades of Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka on February 12 - 14, 2016.

According to an earlier report on Game Spot, Katsuhiro Harada was present during the North American finals for the King of Iron Fist Tournament. The tournament is for the best "Tekken" players from around the country gathered, and to compete on the currently unreleased "Tekken 7" for cash prizes in San Francisco. They also caught up with Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray to talk about the competitive event, and the release of the home version of "Tekken."

The "Tekken" competitive fighting game has been one of the most popular player-versus-player games of all time, and this upcoming "Tekken 7" on 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC will surely become a hit. It was believed that the "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" succeeds the "Tekken Revolution," and this is due to its servers being shutdown next year on March 21, 2017.
