"NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 mid-season was the bomb, there are a lot of things fans found out on the current new season. Now, fans want to know what's going to happen next.

Executive Producer Brad Kern sat down with TV Guide and told them the latest news about the second half of the series. According to Kern, this season has been broken into two parts, the cartel and city corruption.

"The end of the Cartel storyline will hand the baton off to the second half which is going to deal with obviously the Navy, Marines and jurisdictional aspects that affect NCIS," the producer was quoted saying. Brad Kern also mentioned expecting to see the two sides of Sebastian.

"Sebastian is both an everyman who allows us to imagine ourselves as an NCIS agent and to see some lightheartedness in the show too. It'll be a lot of fun, Kern added.

As for Zoey McLellan's Agent Brody, she is not going to return on "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3. TV Line previously reported that it was a creative decision for the Agent to not return.

The site reported that the McLellan's character was heavily compromised in the Season 2 finale. It can be remembered that she was associated with an agent from Homeland Security who became one of the villains in the show. They explained that Agent Brody's heavily tarnished the good reputation of the NCIS team.

As for the original "NCIS" team, Travelers Today reported that the series is going strong amidst low ratings and cancellation rumors. The site reported that the low ratings might allude to Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo's departure from the series.

Currently, Tony DiNozzo is spending some quality time with his daughter in Paris, France. Apparently, this caused disheartened fans to stop watching the show. Going back to "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3, the series is slated to return in 2017.
